My last name had to be French and with an accent. *sigh*
People always misspell “P H I L I P” and spell it with 2 L’s instead of 1. D:
people always assume my name is Emery or Emory, not just Emry. I don’t really care honestly, but I think it’s funny when I’ve known people for ages and they still can’t get it right.
Channel, Shanel, Shunel, Shannel, Chanelle, Michelle, IT GOES ON.
My name always gets mispronounced as Janette (Juh-net). But I’ve gotten used to it for the most part.
M-E-A-G-H-A-N. But most people usually call me by my last name thinking it’s my first name.
It’s Caroline, not Carolyn. I don’t make a huge deal about pronunciation, most people ask me. But it needs to be spelled properly! And I always spell out my surname because even though it’s not a difficult word, it’s very often misheard.
My first name is Stefanie, not Stephanie. And my lat name is a pain sometimes, too. Also, I live in Japan, and no one here can pronounce either of those names correctly so far.
I only thought my 4-letter last name had gone through all the misspellings and mispronunciations it could go, then Japan found a several more.
Mine is fairly simple (for both parts!) and it still gets effed up. D:

I'm the sort of person that gets fully into one thing and will read stories and see art and cosplay... will research it and try to figure out all the ins and outs. I'm a total research nerd-- I'm one of those people that likes to delve into books and try to figure out things and read historical documents and imagine what life was like then and what it could be.
I love to read and write; currently working on a novel and my dream is to eventually finish my story and get it published. I am always working on something, whether it be on paper, computer or just sitting inside my head.
I also adore my cat, who is the light of my life. :P
Right now I'm into the live action dramas and toku shows. *laughs* Back into dramas, I should say. I used to watch Trick and Gokusen and now I'm watching the Kamen Rider shows and Super Sentai shows. I blame my aibou for that one. *grins*
